The organization was established in 1976 after it was recognized as an authorised sales & service dealer of Cummins Diesel Sales & Service (I) Ltd, Pune. Today, it has two branch offices (one at Jodhpur and other at Bhiwadi) and Five resident representatives (Alwar, Bikaner, Sriganganagar, Khetrinagar and Jaisalmer) in Rajasthan and employs over 200 employees with a gross turnover of over ₹ 50 Crore.
We have with us a full-fledged facility that helps us to offer an extensive range of components with premium quality. We undertake complete maintenance and repairs of Cummins diesel engine, Stamford electrical Alternators, DG control panels of Cummins DG sets. Under the Cummins franchise, we have a full-fledged service centre with a huge area of 20,000 sq ft. for repairing/ overhauling and testing Cummins diesel engines from 50 HP to 2500 HP. Through a joint venture with Cummins in 1995, we are operating in Jaipur as the only service centre in India - apart from its service centre in Pune - where Cummins engines from 500 KVA to 1500 KVA are built to factory standards and tested. This facility in Jaipur is provided to all Cummins customers in North India. We have employed 42 factory-trained mechanics and 8 commercial staff in the service centre. In addition, a team of 83 factory-trained electrical and mechanical service engineers are specially hired to rectify the engine/gensets problems in the field. A group of 30 highly motivated commercial staff in various departments like Parts, Service, and Finance etc., supports the field as well as a service centre team. Adequate computerized inventory ensures timely availability of spares to have minimum equipment downtime.
In 1982, we started representing KSB Pumps Limited Pune as their Business agent and in 1990, we became authorized sales & service dealers for their submersible, Industrial pumps (exclusive dealer for Rajasthan). In 2002, we were also entrusted to market KSB Industrial Valves in Rajasthan. A team of Marketing engineers and factory-trained mechanics handle the pumps business. We are also operating a well-equipped authorized service centre for KSB submersible and Industrial pumps, where pumps are repaired, tested as per KSB standards.
URSS has been appointed the authorized service centre for KSB valves for the north region of India. We are the only authorized service centre in the north to render service to all types of valves of the KSB brand.
In 2001, we approached Chicago Pneumatics - a division of Atlas Copco Limited, Pune - manufacturing diesel/ electric screw compressors & reciprocating Oils free compressors, and became sale & service dealers of their products. A team of Marketing engineers and service engineers handle our Air Compressor business. Customers for compressors are mainly medium and large industrial engineering plants, marble/ granite mining queries etc.
URSS is now an authorized service station for major overhauling of CP compressors. We are responsible for repairing and overhauling of portable and industrial compressors in the north region of India.
We are now the leading suppliers of portable and industrial Chicago Pneumatic compressors in the state of Rajasthan.
URSS was appointed as the first Cummins Component Care Centre in the north and second pan India in the year 2018. We have 1,000 sq ft. of dust-free service lab to cater repair of Cummins after-treatment systems in BS4 and BS6 engines. We have field service mechanics that aid any vehicles that are off-road due to failures in the after-treatment systems. With the help of our field marketing engineers, we are leading suppliers of parts in the state of Rajasthan for both BS6 and BS4. URSS is also responsible for repair of EGP AND ETV and also has the facility of diesel particulate filter (DPF) cleaning amongst other major repair facilities. We have a branch office in Shahpura (Manoharpur) to assist major TASS, fleet owners and retailers residing in the most truck populated highway that is NH8.

In July 2006, we set up an authorised service centre for complete repairs of heavy commercial trucks of TATA Motors on a 5000 sq meters land with 12 working bays in a covered workshop (area of over 12,000 sq ft. on Jaipur-Delhi NH 8 highway). Enough manpower/tools & tackles are in place to undertake repairs on 6 to 8 trucks at a time.
